In 1997, the team was formed as a learn to play group. After two seasons of learning, the Missouri Hericanes were born. The Canes played their first game on January 8, 2000 against the St. Louis Surge. Since then, the team has transformed from a learn to play group to a competitive team. Originally playing out of the Chesterfield Ice Arena, the Canes now make their home at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO. |
